Multidisciplinary Clinic: Gynecology and Endocrinology

At Inova Children's, our Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Endocrine Clinic allows for specialized and collaborative care. Dr. Rachel Casey (Gynecology) and Dr. Lindsey Waldman (Endocrinology) work together to provide cohesive care for young women with both gynecologic and endocrine concerns, such as PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Girls with PCOS often experience menstrual irregularities, excess hair growth or acne on the face or body. Other complex conditions that require both specialties are also seen in this clinic, such as complex cases of amenorrhea or absent menstrual periods. This clinic is held in conjunction with a Registered Dietitian, who is available for consultation as well. This clinic will be held twice a month with opportunities for both in-person and telemedicine visits.
